Loch Hart Music Festival expands lineup with Alex Dyson, The Pretty Littles & Comedy Hour

Just when you thought Loch Hart 2019 couldn’t get any bigger, the bunch of legends went off and diversified the 2019 offerings with the addition of a full-blown Comedy Hour and an extra slice of local music!

Joining the already huge lineup of acts, including darlings of Australian indie-pop, Alpine, local legend Didirri, artist-producer Alice Ivy, hip-hop impresario Genesis Owusu, Cousin Tony’s Brand New Firebird, Moaning Lisa and The Senegambian Jazz Band – just to name a few, beloved Melbourne rockers The Pretty Littles are the cherry on top the heaving musical feast!

Last year the band released their fifth studio record in Skeleton Run and took on a national tour to promote it, a run of dates that found the band perform headline shows in their biggest rooms to date on the back of releasing cracker singles like “Sober” and the emotionally charged “Don Dale”. Expect a sweaty mosh pit and ripsnorter guitar rock. Triple j’s Nick Findlay might have described it as pure “sing-a-long-with-your-mates-while-sinkin-a-few” type rock ’n’ roll – and we’re backing that.

Proving once again that Loch Hart is not just about great local music, but a diverse range of experiences over the course of a weekend away with your mates, the festival have also added former triple j breakfast radio host, Wannon independent candidate and bonafide ratdog Alex Dyson who is set to preside over the festival’s comedy hour, which will feature a cavalcade of Victoria’s best-emerging comics including Luka Muller, Aurelia St Clair, Annie Louey and Alex Keen. Prepare to have those funny bones thoroughly tickled!

Rounding out the home away from home, there will be yoga sessions to stretch those tired limbs, Luxurious Glamping options, and a range of culinary delights on offer, including Fugazi wood-fired pizza, and local Forrest Brewery craft beer on tap at the James Bully Forbes Bar. Or of course, you can always grab a tinny from your esky courtesy of the festival’s generous BYO policy.

Why not unwind and escape the daily grind in the laid back surrounds of Loch Hart Music Festival – November 15-17, 2019. Tickets on sale now via www.lochhart.com/
