While it seems like only yesterday that Jack Johnson, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, and the likes took to the stage at this year’s Bluesfest, now comes the first lineup announcement for 2020′s instalment of the renowned festival… and it is a doozey!
Bluesfest is known for pulling incredible acts, Paul Simon and Crosby, Stills and Nash having all graced the festival in the past, so it’s no surprise that they’ve pulled out all the stops once again.
Leading the massive celebrations, they’ve got industry powerhouse Dave Matthews Band, an exclusive Australian performance from Multi-APRA and ARIA award-winners, BRIT award winners and MTV Video Music Award winners Crowded House, and best-selling author, performance poet & visual artist Patti Smith and her Band making their way to Bluesfest.
Alongside these legends, the lineup boasts a slew of some of the most significant names in music, including 10-time Grammy Award-winning guitarist George Benson, three-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter Brandi Carlile, hometown heroes John Butler and Xavier Rudd and the reigning queen of 2000s indie Jenny Lewis.
