Vapers of Geelong rejoice, the ultimate vape store has finally arrived on your doorstep. Settling in on Mercer street just down the road from Pizzaland (because who wouldn’t love a cheeky slice of pizza with their vape?), the brand spanking new Geelong Vape Co set-up boasts a rad hangout lounge, a huge range of products and some of the damn loveliest people you’ve ever met on staff.
Now, this isn’t just some cute little college juul candy shop (although I’m sure they’re more than happy to cater to you too boys, no judgement here), the Geelong Vape Co is loaded with all the steamy goods you could possibly want.
With a massive range of juices, devices, and accessories, they may be locally owned but they’ve got products coming in from around the world with a little somethin’ for everyone from you adorable little beginners to the most hardcore of vape enthusiasts.
Originally existing as a strictly online business since 2015, it has since come under new management from Feb this year and, with a lot of lovin’ from its new owners, has flourished in expanding its online presence and erecting its groovy new establishment which came out with a bang on its grand opening last Sunday.
Amidst the cloudy chaos of the day’s activities, I managed to pull some of the vape crew aside for a couple of questions:
What sets you aside from other vape stores?
Definitely the customer service. We take pride in being really helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff where you can get really personalised service. The huge range, competitive prices, and chill atmosphere, I would say, are also big reasons to visit Geelong Vape Co.
Most vape businesses are online, which you guys are aswell, but obviously, we’re here today celebrating this store opening – what exactly are you hoping to offer customers by opening a physical store?
Again, it’s just that really friendly, personalised aspect of the business that we really value. Being able to offer advice and support with friendly faces, especially since a big chunk of our customer base – and a big part of our business aim – is to kick the darts. We hope that by letting people come in they can touch and feel and learn that they’re buying stuff that is actually tailored to and beneficial for them. With us, they’re not just buying random shit online where they have to come in and get us to put it together for them anyway, or try to put these really advanced or even totally incompatible parts together – which is super dangerous by the way. A big part of what we have to offer is product knowledge. We know what people need and we provide them that service. And really, at the end of the day, we just want to help people give up cigarettes. That’s the aim and that’s why we think it’s important for people to be able to come in and find a friendly face who’s willing to help them out on that journey.
