Sugar Republic returns to Melbourne

If you’re looking for any excuse to unleash your inner child, consume lots of free sweets and relieve your childhood, look no further, this is it.

Sugar Republic is back in Melbourne with 12 brand-new sweet inspired rooms to have a play in, as well as some old-time re-imagined goodies.

While it’s predominately aimed at adults, kids are also welcomed to join in on the fun, although they already have billions of playgrounds purely for themselves so maybe leave it to the big kids at heart, just sayin…

So, if you’ve always wanted to dive into a giant ball pit, jump out of a jumbo birthday cake, swing in a room full of candy, relax in an Arnott’s cookie house, sink into a bubble gum lounge room and get free lolly samples along the way, then I highly recommend you head on down to the truly unique Sugar Republic pop-up interactive exhibit.

Located in Myer on Bourke Street, Sugar Republic is open until May 20th, with adult tickets starting at around $35 for an hour of unlimited fun and encounter wonder-filled art installations, as well as free ice cream and candy… and then feel free to continue eating and even do some shopping once you are done.

Sugar Republic is Australia’s ‘must see’ exhibition for anyone who has ever hit a sugar high, slammed a packet of Tim Tams shamelessly, or jumped for joy at the sound or sight of the Mr Whippy van.
