Get ready to immerse yourself in the glorious seaside village of Port Fairy for the 43rd Port Fairy Folk Festival in March this year.
Thousands of music lovers will be flocking to this scenic coastal town to dive into the unmissable line-up of artists from all around the globe representing folk music, which will also see a special celebration of the 50th anniversary of Woodstock with a mind-blowing line up including Melisande, Marcia Howard, Tiffany Eckhardt, Tomato/Tomato, Nick Barker, Front Country, Les Chauffeur a Pieds, The Naked Waiters and more.
In exciting news for the music lovers around this side of the region, the team at Port Fairy have come up with another very special event for the festival.
North East x South West is the event and will see artists who hail from the divine coastline of North East Canada, and the world in between our own glorious coastline in South West Victoria.
NE X SW will feature Aria Hall of Fame inductee, the magnificent Kasey Chambers, Nova Scotia’s glorious Tomato/Tomato, the wonderful Front Country and Red Tail Ring from the USA and our very own and quite divine The Weeping Willows.
This great event will showcase for you not only the universality of great music, but the the personal and geographic nuances and stories that can be told with this art form.
