The Bavarian will makes its debut at Highpoint Shopping Centre on Friday, 31st August, with 500 free hotdogs distributed as soon as its doors open – you bloody beauty.
Any shoppers, diners and entertainment seekers will end their week on a hot dog high when they roll on through from 5pm on Friday.
Located outside Highpoint Shopping Centre on Level 1 at The Junction, the 500-seat restaurant will offer a little taste of Oktoberfest every day of the year with a menu of Bavarian classic dishes, such as the famous crispy pork knuckle, sausages, schnitzels, pretzels and pork belly, complemented by 17 beers on tap, including imported Bavarian favourites Lowenbrau, Franziskaner, Stiegl and Hofbrau and locally crafted brews that can be served in signature 1-litre glass steins. They’ve also got eight large-screen TVs offer an exciting line-up of entertainment and sport games.
This is the first of the Bavarian restaurants to open in north-east Melbourne, adding to Rockpool Dining Group’s rapidly expanding portfolio of restaurants in Victoria. What’s more, is that The Bavarian Highpoint has created 45 full-time and casual positions, including the employment of 30 local recruits and a General Manager who has progressed through Rockpool Dining Group’s Bavarian restaurants.
It doesn’t stop there though. The feasting is set to continue with The Bavarian Highpoint bringing the first taste of the annual Oktoberfest celebrations to the North West side of Melbourne with six weeks of festivities from Saturday, 22 September. Because why not?
