While Harts revealed at Bluesfest that this will be the final year of musical life under the Harts name, his bags are not packed quite yet.
Last week he dropped a brand new song ‘Wishfulness’, and to celebrate he is hitting the road with a massive nationwide tour.
‘Wishfulness’ comes as the latest in a string of tracks Harts (real name Darren Hart) has released this year, following songs like ‘Ain’t Nothin’ On Me’ and ’21&19′, which are to be included on his upcoming new album — the follow-up to 2016’s Smoke Fire Hope Desire.
To coincide with his upcoming releases Harts is touring Australia, as he takes his expanded live setup, Australia wide for the first time. His new shows will be a great opportunity to see him perform his new music, with a bigger, expanded live band. Its going to be an all new, intimate and experimental show.
With his singular blend of funk, jazz, blues, psychedelic rock, and indie electronic that has drawn comparisons to Prince, Jimi Hendrix, and Lenny Kravitz, among others, Harts show is one you won’t want to miss.
