Bloods: Feelings

Bloods have been known and loved for their tones of power-pop-punk ever since their first release in 2012.
Feelings, the latest release and sophomore album has taken these roots, mashing and developing them into what could arguably be labeled their most sophisticated album yet.
Opening with title track, ‘Feelings’, is a rock-fueled track, decorated with punchy vocals and bursts of distortion.
‘Talk’, the second track on the album ventures into more pop-punk tones, with a fast paced and catchy chorus.
Slower tracks like ‘Broken Heart’ showcase sweet, lo-fi tones and pensive vocals strengthened with subtle riffs and synthy overdubs.
Although Feelings is upbeat and filled with punk properties, the album has this dreamy eminence to it too, making it a fun and easy to listen to album the whole way through.
This album makes me super excited to see what Bloods have in store in the years to come.
