5SOS break record as first band in Billboard History to have their first three studio albums go No. 1

Holy Hell!
Sydney-siders 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) are reppin’ Australia in the best possible way with the success of their new album!
Youngblood has taken the top spot on the Billboard (200), earning over 142,000 equivalent album units in the week ending June 21.
What’s even more exciting is 5SOS is now the only band (not vocal group) in chart history to see its first THREE full-length studio albums enter the Billboard (200) at No. 1. THREE ENTIRE ALBUMS.
The band celebrated the album’s release with a performance on the Plaza in NYC, which was broadcast on NBC’s ”TODAY” show as part of the 2018 Citi Concert Series. See below!

This US chart success mirrors Australia, where Youngblood debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, their third consecutive chart-topping debut. With single Youngblood holding at No. 1 for a fifth week in a row, they have joined an illustrious group of artists to deliver an ARIA No. 1 single and album at the same time – matching it with the likes of John Farnham, Silverchair, Icehouse and Savage Garden.
The boys are heading back to Australia this August for the Meet You There national tour where they’ll hit up Melbourne’s Festival Hall on August 13.
