RAPAPORT is hitting the nation with his 'Village Idiot' headline tour

Following a 16 date national tour with Butterfingers and a Sydney support slot with Horrorshow, Rapaport will hit the road again embarking on his own national headline tour to launch his second solo album, ‘Village Idiot’, stopping by good old Melbourne.
Three years in the making, ‘Village idiot’ boasts a unique track listing that features some of the country’s best hip hop artists; Joelistics (TZU), Ribongia, Kid Fiction, Mantra & Billie McCarthy. The album merges the intensity and speed of hip hop with country, soul, and African groove resonating into the Rapaport’s live show through his spit fire raps and live instrumental beats.
Rapaport Explains “I put so much of myself into these tunes and I can’t wait to share them with audiences around the country. The response I’ve had to the album has so far been really amazing and I’m excited to bring the songs alive with the live guitar.”
Released in March through Sydney hip hop label Big Village, a label Rapaport co-founded and still runs, ‘Village Idiot’ has clocked up thousands of streams on Spotify and radio airplay around the country via Triple J and the National Community Radio Network.
After years of performing with the best MC’s in Australian hip hop such as Thundamentals, Mathas, Omar Musa, P. Smurf, Butterfingers and Horrorshow, it’s all eyes on Rapaport as he launches ‘Village Idiot’ next month.
Check it out in Melbourne, Sat July 14 at the Horse Bazaar w/ Fresh Violet & Mr Ruckman. Tickets via rapaport.com.au May 23 at 10am
