Hein Cooper is back…

After over a year of travelling around the world, Hein Cooper (singer and song writer) has returned to Australian shores with a national tour through April and May and a brand new single ‘Hear My Voice’ produced by himself ad Will Hicks, thats was released April 6.
Releasing his Marcus Paquin debut album ‘The Art Of Escape’ in 2016 with smash hit ‘Rusty’ (with over 8 million streams on spotify) and break out track ‘The Art Of Escape’, Hein spent most of 2016 touring and supporting James Bay and again co-headlining with Lanks, before briefly retiring for the Falls festival.
Not afraid to mesh acoustic and electronic and developing a dynamic and entertaining live show combining those elements as well as proving equally proficient in both lush and stripped back moments, debut album ‘The Art Of Escape’ was an accomplished start for Hein Cooper.
Hein’s new single,”Hear My Voice” is a song about falsehoods and self-constructed versions of ourselves:
“This song is about my experiences with falsehood, of hiding behind a version of myself that I’ve built up in a fantasy influenced by all the information thrown at us in 2018. It’s a conversation that I’m having with myself, basically saying: ‘Are you in there? Coz the guy answering the door is an a**hole and there’s gotta be someone else I can talk to,” he says.
Excited to bring this new music back home to Australia, Hein is readying “Hear My Voice” and a collection of new material for upcoming headline shows nationally in April and May.
