The Pier Street Party goes down this Saturday

For the second year running The Pier Street Party is returning to Frankston’s Davey Street on February 24 with Sydney hip-hop superstars THUNDAMENTALS headlining the event, supported by ART VS SCIENCE, GRYROSCOPE, THE GETAWAY PLAN, RACKETT and JESSWAR!
Held outside The Pelly Bar & Pier Bandroom in Frankston, this epic street party will be the talk of summer. Bringing the local community and music fans together for such an unmissable lineup, The Pier Street Party shapes to be one of the must-see experiences of the year.
Frankston City Mayor Colin Hampton is thrilled to play host, saying, “Frankston City is ready to rock as The Pier Street Party prepares for its second year. Council is delighted that our city will be hosting world class acts at this fantastic event for the community and visitors to enjoy.”
With one of the preeminent acts in the country, the feeling is mutual. Jewson from Thundamentals can’t wait to get involved, enthusing online, ‘VIC, we are coming for yiiieeew!!! Thundamentals have been extremely busy as of late with the release of their universally loved fourth studio album ‘Everyone We Know’ and the newly announced ‘Decade Of The Thundakat’ national tour, not to mention the absolutely stacked summer they have had on the festival circuit. Art vs Science will be smashing out their latest track ‘Wickoo’ as well as some of the old favourites. Gyroscope will be in fine form ahead of their 2018 national tour playing their first studio recording since 2010 – the new double A-side ‘Crooked Thought’. To round out the lineup is The Getaway Plan, Rackett and Jesswar bringing all of their high-octane energy to Davey Street!
