Hey Forte Readers,
Another issue is upon us and seeing as we are on the tail end of summer I thought I would throw a few delicious smoothie recipes in here for you.
But let’s be real, smoothies are my go-to any time of the year. I find that depending on what I add to them, that determines whether or not they will be a full meal.
The recipes I’ve put below are a mixture of ones with protein and good fats so enjoy!
My go-to Green Smoothie
Small amount of ginger
Handful of mixed herbs – parsley and mint
Small handful of pineapple
2 cups of coconut water
Post workout protein smoothie
Pinch of cinnamon
Chosen protein powder
1/4 cup oats
Small amount of blueberries
2 cups of chosen milk or coconut water
If this isn’t sweet enough, I add a touch of raw maple or honey
Green meanie smoothie
Handful of kale
2 cups almond milk
