Is anything in life more perfectly matched than a cold beer on a hot day? No we don’t think so either! While there are plenty of ways to try out new beers, nothing will give you the sheer variety and volume of new beer like attending one of the many beer festivals in our region.
We’ve rounded up a couple you should check out in the coming months.
Great Australian Beer Festival
Geelong – February 17
Some of the biggest names in the craft beer world, as well as cideries, are on the bill for this feature festival. There’s musical entertainment galore, food trucks aplenty, interactive seminars, various children’s activities, and fun events that include a keg-rolling comp. It’s held at Geelong Racecourse, so get ready to back a winner.

Melbourne BeerFest
Melbourne – March 3
Rounding out the trio of BeerFest events around Australia is this Melbourne offering. Beautiful Catani Gardens in St Kilda will make for the perfect host for a day filled with some of the best brews in the country, as well as beer education sessions, live brew demonstrations, and much more.

Bendigo Craft Beer & Cider Festival
Bendigo – March 24

The Yarra Valley Beer & Cider Festival
Lilydale – April 14
