The biggest year ever at the Potato Shed

We officially kick off the season with a great community event DANCE HALL, presented by Finucane & Smith. Like the barn and bush dances of old; salons from French cabarets to Irish pub concerts Dance Hall will have you entertained and delighted. Dance Hall is a supper dance, a bring-a-plate celebration, a storytelling and dance extravaganza, a night of song and dance and a whole of community knees-up. For anyone who attended Caravan Burlesque or The Feast of Gypsy Argentina this is one show not to miss! Two shows are available for viewing on February 9 and 10 at 8pm. Presented in Cabaret Style, bring a basket supper and purchase drinks from the bar.
Next up in February, Sunshine Boy the story of Leigh Bowery, a London based performance artist, club promoter and designer. He was an eccentric figure in the underground clubs of London and New York, as well as in art and fashion circles. Dance/Text/Fashion/Art/Sex/Music feature in this in-your-face look at a life lived wildly, a long way from Sunshine, Melbourne where he was born. Just the one performance on February 24 at 8pm.
