Infusion: Fresh healthy food in a new and exciting way

Infusion has been on the café scene only a short time, but it’s surely building a reputation as a modern, friendly, go-to café for a coffee, a quick bite or something more substantial.
Some locals may remember it as the Boat Shed Café, next to the famed Barwon Club. Just recently, it was revamped by new owners Luke and Meaghan, with a new name, new look, new menu and a friendly, relaxed vibe.
If you’re looking for a morning breakfast on the go, or a beer or coffee and burger for lunch, Infusion has you covered. Featuring an all-day breakfast menu, you’ll find your standards such as toast and muesli, a brekky burger, or even crepes with some delicious toppings if you’re after a sweeter start to the day.
The lunch menu kicks off at 11:30 with corn fritters, open souvlakis, lasagna, salads and an ever changing roster in the counter/fridge and more. It’s the beef burger with the classic ingredients that is the real winner. With battered onion rings and a tomato relish to top it off (and a side of beautiful golden fries), rest assured your taste-buds will be well and truly satisfied, with hunger kept at bay well into the evening.
If you’re on the run, your wallet will smile at you as Infusion also have a take-way menu with all meals under $10 – you beauty! And the young ones are certainly well catered to with a cheese toastie for only $5. You can be confident in knowing that taking the tribe is not going to break the bank.
Tea, coffee, milkshakes and smoothies, as well as cider, beer and wine means a casual work lunch, a family catch up, or ordering from the take-away menu can be sorted with no problem at all.
They’ve also just started having Comedy Nights, so if that is your thing; a beer, burger and a laugh sounds like a good night, hey? This is one place worth keeping an eye on!
Infusion is located at 531 Moorabool Street, Geelong and is open 9am – 4pm from Monday to Saturday.
