R U OK? ambassador and Australian country music star Travis Collins is combining his two passions at the 2018 Tamworth Country Music Festival.
As a part of this year’s Tamworth Country Music Festival Travis Collins will host a free concert, Conversations in The Park for R U OK?.
R U OK? is a not-for- profit organisation that aims to inspire people to connect with those around them, and help support those who are struggling with life.
For the three time Golden Guitar winner R U OK? is an organisation close to his heart, and while he regularly checks in with, and creates a safe place for, his family and friends he wants give his second family, the country music community, the same confidence and ability to express and explore their feelings.
This is the second year running that Collins is presenting Conversations in the Park and he is thrilled to be back. This year’s event will include surprise appearances from other Australian country icons, including singer songwriter Amber Lawrence, with the aim of creating an afternoon of great music and meaningful conversations.
Conversations in The Park will be held at the small stage of the Toyota Park, on Saturday January 27th 12:30 – 2:30 pm.
