Urban Spread: Summer road trip featuring The Jungle Giants & special guests

Summer is here! And with the holiday sun and fun just around the corner, it’s time to grab your besties and a beach towel because this summer Urban Spread is heading out on a road trip to some of Victoria’s most beautiful regional and coastal towns.

For the first time ever, Urban Spread is bringing their acclaimed party series, this time featuring The Jungle Giants and a few yet-to-be-announced guests, to Warrnambool and San Remo for the ultimate summer party. Stopping by Warrnambool on January 25 at The Whalers Hotel, the road trip then kicks on to The Western Port Hotel in San Remo on Saturday 27 to cap off a long weekend to remember.

Urban Spread has a well-earned reputation for hosting larger-than-life parties in the outer suburbs of Melbourne since 2015, acting up with the likes of San Cisco, Bad Dreems, Seth Sentry, The Jezabels, The Rubens, DZ Deathrays, The Bennies and Alex Lahey to name a few. Getting away from the big smoke, Urban Spread is looking to get coastal this summer in some seriously amazing locations, inviting locals and visitors alike to come and enjoy the festivities.

2017 has been a huge year for The Jungle Giants, with the Brisbane four piece releasing the highly anticipated single ‘Feel The Way I Do’. Racking up over 40 million Spotify streams in the process, The Jungle Giants have become the poster people for taking creative risks in the studio, as can be seen along the journey from their first EP, though triple j feature albums Learn To Exist, the follow-up Speakerzoid, and now the brand new indie-rock opus Quiet Ferocity.

Urban Spread’s Summer Road Trip with The Jungle Giants and Special Guests is getting away from the rat race and coming to enjoy the coastal nirvanas of Warrnambool and San Remo.

Urban Spread is presented by the Transport Accident Commission as part of their ‘Towards Zero’ vision of zero deaths and serious injuries on our roads. The TAC will engage with young Victorians within the music community, ensuring all music lovers plan ahead, look after their mates and get home safely.

If we know what’s good (and trust us, we do), you’ll want to watch this space for a special announcement for Urban Spread in our next issue.
