Thrashville returns for its second year

Heavv music festival Thrashville is proud to announce the bumper line-up for its second year, which will return on Saturday January 20, 2018, to the Hunter Valley, NSW.

After its breakthrough debut in January 2017, it was abundantly clear that punk, rock and metal fans are looking for a grassroots event – and festival promoter Dashville was happy to give it a shot.

The best of the Hunter’s acts will share the stage with some of Australia’s heaviest hitters. Punk legends FRENZAL RHOMB will make their Dashville debut, fresh from the release of their raucous Hi-Vis High Tea record.

Their relationship with the Hunter Valley extends back over two decades, to the days of Dog Bite at Maitland Showground in the late ‘90s. Dashville is very humbled to be bringing them back to the Lower Hunter.

They’ll also be joined by metal maniacs KING PARROT, BATPISS with their dark brand of sludge punk, metal purveyors FRANKENBOK and punk rockers THE AUSTRALIAN BEEFWEEK SHOW, prog maniacs TROLDHAUGEN, Brisbane all-girl garage rockers VOIID, new band POST TRUTH, featuring members of Hard-
Ons and Conation, Newcastle punk bands PAPER THIN, RORT MENACE and JONES THE CAT, plus famed Dashville supergroup DASHVILLE PROGESS SOCIETY, who will bring in some special local metal-heads for a wild set of classic punk and metal covers.

Thrashville will also feature a host of delicious food trucks, skate demos on the Dashville half pipe, live graff art and lots of other fun times.
