Julia Morris takes her one woman show regional

Multi-talented Australian comedian, Julia Morris, returns to the stage in 2018 with her one woman show, Lift and Separate Golden Jubilee Tour.

The 18-show tour – running from May until June – will see Morris performing the show for the first time in 15 regional towns and centres around the country, as well as returning to Geelong, Parramatta, Chatswood and Brisbane after completely sold out seasons in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane during 2017.

As a woman in her extreme 30’s, Julia’s brand new show will deliver her signature full tilt, high octane stand up storytelling, leading directly to what she calls “hurty tummy laughter”.

The show aims to make sense of day to day life while trying to actually Lift and Separate. It’s a delicious and raucous romp through the last two years, complete with a dissension into general madness and finding her way back. You should expect a high octane stand up storytelling performance that comes from her years of entertainment experience.

Morris completely sold out her 2015 live show, I Don’t Want Your Honest Feedback, picking up her 2nd Helpmann Award nomination for Best Comedy Performer in the process. The two-time Silver Logie nominee is also a TV fave for her role on Nine’s House Husbands and as co-host of Network Ten’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!

For us in Forte land, this all means we have shows in Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo and Warrnambool across May and June next year.

Morris completely owns the stage, especially with her brutal honesty, as well as her witty, yet warm delivery, which has become her trademark. – it’s a sight to behold. Don’t miss it!
