Byron Bay’s Bluesfest announces 16 more acts to perform in 2018

For their second artist announcement, Bluesfest released the names of 16 artists who will be performing at the 2018 festival.

These names are a brilliant mix of artists bound to delight any and all festival attendees. This release includes names such as Youssou N’Dour – a legendary African musician who comes with a 20-piece band which includes acrobats, Seal – who is considered a legend of soul music and is well known across Australia especially after being the winning coach on the Australian Voice, and Rag ‘N’ Bone Man – an artist with a powerful voice and who puts a new twist onto traditional blues music.

Other names announced include; Michael Franti & Spearhead, Jackson Browne, Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Gomez, The Original Blues Brothers Band, Jimmy Cliff, The Wailers, Benjamin Booker, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Canned Heat, Walter Trout, André Cymone and The Teskey Brothers.

The festival promises to have a mix of artists from differing backgrounds and experiences, and this announcement alone shows the diversity of the performers attending the festival.
