Art On Time

Art On Time – the Art and Clock Exhibition and Sale – is back for its 8th year running. This is an exhibition for local artists, with 100 artworks, and 100 clocks on display. With just a gold coin donation for entry, art available for purchase, a chance to view and buy numerous vintage and antique clocks and a chance to chat to local artists, this is an event well worth attending.

Four local artists will be at the event, sharing their knowledge and experiences with attendees. These include the weekend’s host, Dave Whittaker, along with guests; Marg Bunting – an oil painter who draws her inspiration from travels around Australia, New Zealand and Europe, Shouline Tchen – who creates impressionistic style watercolours influenced by her love of nature, and Mary Tegelaers – who creates both oil paintings and original prints. These artists have all also created Christmas and greeting cards that will be available for purchase, along with the artists being willing to take commissions. Clock hobbyist Mark Greskie will also be in attendance, displaying a number of the clocks he has collected, and in some cases restored. Some of these vintage and antique clocks will also be available for purchase.

Art On Time is being held at 81 Bailey St Belmont, from November 24 to 26. The location is a garden setting, with the late spring dates meaning the garden is sure to be beautiful, to go along with the beautiful items on display.

Art On Time is an event that supports the Andrew Love Cancer Centre, with entry fee being directly donated to the organisation. A percentage of the proceeds from any artworks sold is also being donated, meaning this is a chance to view some great art, pick up some Christmas cards or even gifts, all in a beautiful location and supporting a good cause.
