Too Heavy To Hug #674

Welcome to THTH, Forte’s premier source of all things heavy, hard, fast and metal.

Rumours are rife that an Australian version of the classic metal festival, Download, will be announced in the coming weeks/soon. I’ve previously discussed how we here in Oz are missing out on our Summer metal fests and and since the fall of Soundwave, whoever picks up the festival circuit will literally have the monopoly. To make this Download Festival rumour even better, not only is there a French Download but there will also be a Madrid Download next year.

Whilst we can expect line-ups to vary between the Downloads in the UK and Europe, we can also expect to see a variation in the line-up here in Australia, should it go ahead. Fingers crossed we hear some good news about an Oz summer metal fest because it’s been a long time between (over-priced festival) drinks.
