October at the Potato Shed

October is one of the busy times at the Shed. We have many events for the Seniors Festival throughout the month. We have our regular monthly Morning Showtime with the wonderful Drop of A Hat Band singing all the hits from the ’60s and ’70s on Tuesday October 10 at 10.30am – as always, it will include delightful morning tea from Drysdale’s Bakers Delight.

We also have the superb Geelong Harmony Chorus with their Sing Into Spring Concert on Sunday October 8 at 2pm.

Thursday October 12 we welcome LaMama with Birdcage Thursdays – a new work dealing with hoarding – on at 8pm.

Direct from Adelaide we have Exposing Edith, a special Sunday afternoon treat on October 29 at 2pm – presented Cabaret Style. Having performed to sell-out crowds around Australia, this really is one not to miss!

But the big event is the annual Family Fun Day – with lots of great free activities for the whole family – that’s on Sunday October 22 from 11am to 3pm. The Full program will be released on our webpage and Facebook during the week leading up to the event. It truly is one of the best days on the Bellarine, with something for everyone.

Check out our webpage or Facebook for all the latest news and up to date information. There’s always something on at the Shed. We hope to see you here!
