As part of the annual Melbourne Music Week also comes the Age Music Victoria Awards – where the state’s premier music talent will be honoured for their work over the past year and celebrate the successes of its musicians, venues, and festivals.
And what would an award night be without a huge after party!
Set to be one epic night, the party will be featuring live sets from Harvey Sutherland & Bermuda, Gold Class and Cable Ties.
Along with these names, the EG Allstars, are some of Australia’s foremost voices. Josh Teskey (The Teskey Brothers), Archie Roach, Gretta Ray, Ella Thompson (GL), Michelle Nicolle, Birdz, Mojo Juju, Jim Lawrie (performing Big Smoke) and DJ MzRizk.
And once again, $5 from every ticket sold at this year’s Awards will be donated to The Age Music Victoria’s charity partner Support Act Limited, which has received almost $50,000 from the event over the last ten years.
