The arts-music-storytelling event, Newstead Short Story Tattoo, sets up camp for its fifth festival in 2017. Mixing “academics with artists, politics with fiction, history with poetry, orators with musicians”, guests include poet, short fiction writer and performer Manisha Anjali, poet and novelist Tony Birch, journalist and novelist Jenny Valentish and poet Pi O.
