Mule Coffee Shed

Coffee may be in this cafe’s name, but there’s so much more on offer than just a good latte. The venue is quickly becoming one of the most popular spots in Geelong for its 72-hour slow-cooked sous vide pork spare ribs, which sell-out within hours of posting on Facebook. Perfecting the staple of any meat lovers diet, the Texan style BBQ ribs are dished out on Fridays from 12pm. Served as either a full or half rack with house made sauce and super crunchy chips, these slow cooked and flamed ribs are so smokey and so sticky, falling apart at the smallest touch. If that hasn’t got your mouth-watering, we don’t know what will.

Mule is also the place to experience one of our favourite things in this world – getting our hands wrapped around a burger, making a mess and finishing the last piece with sticky fingers and a full stomach. Is there anything better? A stand-out is their greatest creation ever – a monster beef patty, epic fried chicken breast, triple burger cheese, torched maple bacon and their house made sauce. It is WOW.

Alongside their extraordinarily tasty ribs, succulent burgers and famous funky milkshakes and kids DIY shake making parties, lunches go for a steal at $10 during the week and $15 on weekends with your choice of main, a can of drink and some chips. Mule are also offering two hours of bottomless prosecco and three courses of divine food (such as platters of nachos, sliders and tacos, or popcorn chicken) from 2pm – 4pm on Fridays and from 11am – 4pm Saturdays. The weekends just got a whole lot better!

There’s plenty to be energised for in the Spring season at Mule Coffee Shed, and if you’re after the ribs, we recommend you like them on Facebook to be in on the chance to get the sell-out menu item and order ahead!
