The event bringing the best local and international electronic music acts to the town, Frequency 4 presents Ascend 1.0 on Cup Eve (October 24).
Featuring multiple progressive, tech and trance artists in a unique warehouse venue with big uplifting and progressive sounds, enormous effects and visuals by surf coast event lighting, you are sure to ascend into the night.
Joined already announced Melbourne artist Pinkque (Natasha Brekke) who so far has headlined at TranceXplosion and Tracegression 2.0 in Prague, Czech Republic, has toured in Australia for Extrema400 (Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide) and performed at Australia’s newest dance festival, Electric Parade in Feb 2016, will be two new acts – Ferry Tayle and Trancendent.
Coming to Geelong for the very first time will be massive French DJ and trance producer Ferry Tayle – otherwise known as ‘The Wizard’ in the scene, spreading the magic through his sets and productions. He is known for painting colors with sound!
In 2014, Ferry Tayle released his 2nd solo album: The Wizard, which was acclaimed as one of the best Trance albums of 2014, hitting #61 in the US iTunes Dance Chart upon release. Massively supported by Aly & Fila, Armin van Buuren and many more, this album marked a new turn in Ferry Tayle’s career. Followed by his collaboration with Aly & Fila, Nubia, was voted as one of the best Trance records of 2014, and has since been producing world class trance tracks.
Alongside these two dynamic and quality acts, we’ll also be treated to local under dog Trancendent, who first first developed a passion for DJing around mid 2000s and has since fallen in love with uplifting and emotional trance.
During his journey to making his own unique sound, this rising star discvoered his flawless mixing techniques, and has used them to blend some of the most inspiring uplifting and emotional trance tracks of our time to benefit the listener in more ways than can be imagined and be entertained at the same time.
This guy has come out on top creating inspiring pieces that will take listeners on a wonderful emotional journey and give peace and unity to all. You must not miss this.
