Allira Eats #672

Hey Forte Foodies!

Let’s chat food… OF COURSE!

I don’t know about anyone else but my whole life revolves around food, if I’m going to an event the first thing I’m thinking of is ‘will there be food’… I bet you’re all like this too.

On my adventures in the foodie realm, I have come across a hella good cafe – one that has good coffee, sweet vibes and is allergy friendly.

The Cedar Store is located out in Moolap (address below), where they are currently open Tuesday through to Friday from 8am to 3pm, serving good wholesome food that is definitely perfect for someone who has a specific dietary requirement.

They are fast becoming one of Geelong’s favourites when it comes to their homemade donuts that are vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free.

When we visited the Cedar Store, we ordered the almond milk chia pudding which was layered with raspberries, coconut yoghurt, fruit and a gluten free muesli. I am not normally a fan of coconut yoghurt but this was the bees knees.

Nate ordered his usual (and I say usual because it’s fast becoming his staple food) smashed avocado with goats cheese, Roma tomatoes, herbs and dukkah on sourdough – he said it was delicious.

Across the menu you will find something for everyone with fresh toasties, soup of the day, kid friendly options and an extensive drinks menu.

The Cedar Store hosts a great drinks menu serving cartel coffee, Love Tea tea leaves along with the old school favourite milkshakes.

I recommend adding this cafe to your list of cafes to visit within the region because this one ticks all the boxes!

The Cedar store is located at 175 Moolap Station Road, Moolap
