Entries are now open for the St Kilda Festival

It’s time.

Be a part of Australia’s biggest free music festival and join in entertaining 400,000 people along the St Kilda foreshore!

The call for entries for the 2018 New Music Stage, Events and Activities, Children’s Entertainment, Community Groups and Charity partners are now open.

Whether you’re an entertainer, a charity or community group, everyone is invited to apply in this nation-wide search!

Applications are now open in the following categories:

New Music Stage
Hailed as one of the highlights of St Kilda Festival, the New Music Stage returns, offering Australia’s best emerging musical talent a chance to play at the country’s largest free music festival. Ten Australian acts will be selected to play on the New Music Stage in 2018, with the crowd favourite
winning $5,000 and a spot on the Main Stage at the 2019 Festival.

Events and Activities
The Festival is on the lookout for events and activities to place around the Festival precinct and create a much-loved Festival vibe.

Children’s Entertainment
Each year, the St Kilda Festival has a dedicated Kidzone Stage and precinct, providing fun performances and activities for kids and families of all ages. The Festival are on the lookout for performers, face painters and activities to dazzle young minds!

Community Groups
The City of Port Phillip welcomes local community group participation in the St Kilda Festival as an annual celebration of our local culture. Festival community contributions have been made available to assist local community groups who may not otherwise be able to participate in the Festival due to financial or resource implications.

Charity Partners
Registered charities are invited to submit a proposal for an activity or activation at St Kilda Festival. Working in collaboration with Festival organisers, charity partners have the opportunity to contribute to the vibrant carnival atmosphere on the day, while gaining invaluable access to the Festival audience to raise funds and promote awareness of their organisation.
