There’s five ‘Guys In Ties’ raising funds for A.B.I tonight

Raising funds for children with Acquired Brain Injury and Barwon Health’s Mckellar Centre, five ordinary guys have come together to try and make a difference.

Guys In Ties For A.B.I event will be the first official fundraiser for the construction of a new unit which will be built at McKellar Centre.

The guys, Pat Walsh, his brother John Walsh and friends Dan Kaiser, Matt Fiscaini and Andrew Jones, have set themselves the target of raising $15000.

Brought together through their own fitness journey, it was Pat’s own battle with ABI which inspired the event after being involved in a near fatal accident back in 2006 which forced Pat to re-learn how to function in everyday life.

Working hard both in the gym and leading up to the event, these lads passionate in trying to make a difference for children with ABIs, with the aim of inspiring others to see that you are not defined by your disability and even with a disability you can achieve whatever you want from life.
