Aussie trance hero Pinkque headlines new Geelong event

The first act has been revealed for Phase One of Ascend 1.0 – the progressive, tech and trance music event is set to arrive in Geelong on October 24 (also Geelong Cup Eve) at Kubu Studio thanks to Frequency 4.

From Melbourne Australia, Pinkque (Natasha Brekke) has always had a strong passion for music. After discovering artists such as Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren and Gabriel & Dresden in her early teens, her love for trance ignited and she hasn’t looked back since.

So far, she has headlined at TranceXplosion and Tracegression 2.0 in Prague, Czech Republic, has toured in Australia for Extrema400 (Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide) and performed at Australia’s newest dance festival, Electric Parade in Feb 2016.

Pinkque debuted in Buenos Aires, Argentina for a solo show in May 2016 which completely sold out, she returned to Buenos Aires in Feb 2017 selling out yet a second time and is due to return in August 2017 to play at the renowned club in Buenos Aires, Mandarine Club. Pinkque also headlined in Germany along side Aly & Fila, Darren Porter & Sean Tyas in 2016.

Pinkque released her first remix ‘One’ by Manuel Le Saux in Jan 2014 and in December 2014 released her first original ‘Reborn’ on Extrema Global Music which hit the Top 100 Trance Charts on Beatport for 4 consecutive weeks with huge support by Aly & Fila, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Ferry Tayle, Allen & Envy, Darren Porter, Manuel Le Saux, Standerwick, MaRLo at A State Of Trance 700 in Utrecht and many many more.

In October 2015, Pinkque released ‘Hereafter’ on Tytanium Recordings which hit #27 on the beatport trance charts and was voted #1 on Ferry Corsten’s [Corstens Countdown] as well as supported by Sied Van Riel, Giuseppe Ottaviani, MaRLo, Darren Porter, Ahmed Romel, Sean Tyas, Bjorn Akesson and many more. Pinkque’s ‘The Aggressor’ was voted as ‘The Future Sound’ on Aly & Fila’s renowned radio show Future Sound Of Egypt. In 2017 she was asked to remix ‘Perception’ for Steve Allen & Mhammed El Alami and she also released her first EP on Extrema Global Music which features tracks ‘Distant Worlds’ & ‘Despondency’.

With future releases lined up for Pinkque in 2017 and 2018, there is no doubt that she will continue to grow to be an increasingly influential musician.

Featuring other multiple progressive, tech and trance artists in a unique warehouse venue with big uplifting and progressive sounds, enormous effects and visuals by surf coast event lighting, you are sure to ascend into the night.

The rest of the lineup will be dropping soon, but from what we hear it will worth the wait.
