Fresh from playing to a packed amphitheatre as Splendour In The Grass headliners, British indie trio The xx will return to Australia in 2018 for an East Coast headline tour supported by singer-songwriter Kelela and rapper Earl Sweatshirt.
The xx’s Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith will play all-ages shows in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney in January in support of their latest album I See You.
Throughout the tour, The xx will be raising money for local LGBT+ programs in each city, by donating $1 from each ticket sold through the PLUS1 organisation.
The band’s 2018 Aussie shows will be their first local headline gigs since 2013, after they dropped Coexist in 2012.
