At the 1997 Big Day Out, Shonen Knife lined up alongside the likes of Soundgarden, The Offspring, The Prodigy, Supergrass and Fear Factory. In more than 35 years of musical life, in which time they have released eighteen albums and played almost 1200 shows, they have only visited Australia a handful of times. What we’re saying is, when it happens you want to be there.
