Liv Cartledge Releases sanguine single ‘Heard Your Name’ and announces tour

Melbourne folk songstress, Liv Cartledge, shares new single “Heard Your Name”, the latest track lifted from her upcoming EP Timber.

In April 2017 Cartledge dropped her delicate first single ‘You Got Me High’ since taking out the coveted 2015 Telstra Road To Discovery competition and she did not disappoint.

Delivering sanguine energy on the second single from her forthcoming EP Timber, Cartledge unleashes her unique blend of pitch perfect harmonies, full bodied melodies with heart wrenching lyrics.

“Heard Your Name started out as a grief stricken heart pour onto paper not long after I lost my Dad. Somehow after a few hours it had twisted itself into a song. I guess that’s the beauty of being a songwriter”, Cartledge explains.

Timber is set to be released on October 6th, the day before Cartledge kicks off a national tour, with dates running through to the end of November.
