Geelong’s beloved hard-worn blues man, Tim Hulsman, is having no ordinary birthday party.
On August 23 at Pistol Pete’s Food n Blues, he’s having a birthday gig like no other.
Tim is no stranger to the blues scene and is a prominent figure in the Geelong music scene, making Pistol Pete’s the perfect venue. Back in 2014, Tim debuted at number 18 on the Australian Blues and Roots Airplay Charts with his album, ‘Dead Man’s Garden’.
His latest album ‘Get Loved’ is deeply introspective and recorded at Geelong’s own Don’t Poke The Bear studios. Groovy, rootsy melodies, brooding lyrics, and a rock n roll demeanor.
Tim’s birthday gig promises to be a night of slide guitar wizardry, soulful tunes and storytelling. From 8pm – 11pm. It’s not a late one, so you have nooooo excuse!
