Exploring the wonder of both the international and local Americana scene, Out On The Weekend enters its fourth year with an incredibly strong lineup (not to mention finely-curated food and booze). Headlining the festival shall be American singer-songwriter Justin Townes Earle, hot off the release of his acclaimed seventh full-length album Kids In the Street via BMG / 1989 Music.
He’ll be joined by the likes of alt-country pioneers Son Volt (appearing for the first time ever in Australia), Traveller (a project with Jonny Fritz, Robert Ellis & Cory Chisel), All Our Exes Live In Texas, The Deslondes, Robbie Fulks, Fanny Lumsden, The Sadies, Joshua Hedley, Raised by Eagles, Freya Josephine Hollick, the Davidson Brothers and the Moonee Valley Drifters.
Get in early and you may even get to snap up a very-limited Cripple Creek Ferry Package, where you can hitch a ride on the ferry with live entertainment aboard to and from the event, a screen-printed poster, and beverage / meal vouchers for a unique experience.
Out on the Weekend comes to Seaworks in Williamstown on Saturday October 14. Tickets go on sale Friday July 28 at 9am from Eventbrite.
