Sydney rockers, The Lockhearts, have announced a run of East Coast tour dates – including a stop by Geelong

Sydney rockers, The Lockhearts, have announced a run of East Coast tour dates in support of their upcoming single release, Ride Home, the first track lifted from the band’s much-anticipated debut album, Americana Doom Fuzz, slated to drop later this year via Golden Robot Records.

Launching the track at their recent Sydney show on the weekend, the band are set to continue their promo tour with a run of dates through August and September.

Formed in 2012, drawing from the members’ shared love of vintage guitar stores, hot sauce and the first four Van Halen albums. The Lockhearts hold claim to the longest running weekly residency in Sydney, have toured Australia extensively, and created their own annual sell-out festival “Old Mates Block Party”. Ride Home captures the group’s signature live hard-rock swagger, delivering an incendiary taste of what’s to come from their debut LP.

Kicking off the tour on July 29 at The Factory Theatre in Sydney, the band will then continue on to the Gold Coast, Adelaide, Geelong, and Melbourne during August, with Newcastle and Brisbane following in early September and further shows to be announced.
