Create a Creative Future with SpotJobs Melbourne Career Expo

Need inspiration or lacking direction? Want to put the excitement back into your future? Then a career in the creative industries might be just what you are looking for!

The 2017 Melbourne Career Expo, proudly sponsored by SpotJobs, is back for its 16th year; bringing you expert advice to help you with your current career transition.

The annual Career Expo is an event with a difference, designed to have something for everyone, this event is the perfect opportunity to find a profession that truly inspires you.

From music, film and photography, to bricklaying and pilot training, or maybe a position in the Defence Force or as a Master-Chef is your dream career… whatever it is, you can find it all under one roof.

Held at the iconic Royal Exhibition Building from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 July, this event offers all Victorians the information required to develop the skills they need, and the skills employers want, for jobs today and tomorrow.

Melbourne Career Expo event manager Nicole Capper is proud of how the expo has developed over the past 16 years. “We are able to offer the best advice to students, parents, apprentices, graduates and job seekers. Our stands are manned by experts in their field so you can have real conversations about courses, careers and real job placements,” she says.

“We present over 150 exhibitors from Tertiary Education, skill industries, to large employers and career advisers. Our goal is to provide our attendees with the information necessary to guide them through their current career phase whether they are just getting started or looking to up-skill or totally change careers.”

The SpotJobs Melbourne Career Expo also offers free career counselling and workshops from the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA). The CDAA also offers CV checking, so make sure you bring along a copy of your resume and get all the expert advice for free.

So, if you are looking to up-skill, work around your study, work from home or start a new career, look no further.
