Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker announced this week that his groundbreaking sci-fi anthology show will be coming in a high-tech ‘paper’ format – all thanks to a new deal with Penguin Random House.
Black Mirror tells sci-fi stories with a dark and satirical edge, usually focusing on the unanticipated consequences of modern society’s obsession with the latest and greatest technological advances and took over the globe.
The first of three planned Black Mirror books is stated to drop early next year and will be split up into three smaller novellas, each written by different leading fiction writers.
Prepare for a slew of original, dystopian stories.
In the meantime, Netflix is supposed to drop the fourth season of Black Mirror sometime this year, but an official release date has yet to be announced… we’ll be waiting.
