We chat to Kat O ahead of her performance at Ballarat’s Babushka Bar on Saturday June 24.
How would you describe your style?
I describe it as Acoustic Punk so basically the opposite of how people view acoustic music 🙂
Recently going solo, how have you found it?
I love being able to put my guitar on my shoulder and go wherever I want without lugging a ton of gear!
What’s the biggest thing you’ve learnt on your journey so far?
It’s all about this very moment. The past and future don’t matter.
Do you have any specific musical inspirations?
I would love to support Against Me! one day.
What’s up next for you?
I have quite a few gigs coming up, and after that I’m keen to record some of my new songs.
