Watch: Blunt Shovel’s new video is a who’s who of the metal scene

To celebrate the release of Tongue Hung Pinata, which comes of the debut album from the band released in January, Blunt Shovel have filmed a clip that features some of the metal scene’s finest snuck into the clip.

Filmed on location at Goatsound Studios, the clip creates a somewhat awkward scene of what live music audiences have succumbed to in the modern age. Featuring in the film clip is Yeti from Frankenbok/Vicious Circle sporting the g-string, Ash and Tyler from Vicious Circle are the bananas, Mick Summerton Metal Storm/BHSS/sound engineer extraordinaire, Wattie from Archetype Records and a few others.

As for the band itself, they are somewhat of an all-star metal band formed with members from bands Truth Corroded, The Ocularis Infernum, Abrasion and Bowel Mouth.

They’re set for a support slot to Alkira’s upcoming tour at the Eastern in Ballarat on June 23 alongside Harlott, Fall and Resist and Feast of Crows.
