Vintage Crop are playing their last gig in Geelong for a little while

It’s a bit of a bitter sweet show for Vintage Crop coming up. While it’s their first headline show in a year, it’s also their last in Geelong for some time.

But making it that little bit better is being joined by the likes of Gonzo, Bones & Jones and The Floaties for the show – the latter of which is a relatively new band in Geelong.

Blending  ’70s and psych rock with a bit of grunge thrown in for good measure, as the name suggests, the band are all about casual, good times. Pay particular attention to the depth of lead singer Dane Brunt’s vocals –  a tone you don’t hear all that often, and when you do it stands out. The Floaties also featured on the JERKmas line up at the Barwon Club last year. Listen to the Floaties here.

Earlier this year Vintage Crop released their album TV Organs on April 14. Which you can listen to and purchase here.

As for what Vintage Crop will be getting up to for a while, you’ll have to head to the show and ask them.

It all goes down at The Barwon Club Hotel on Saturday, July 29.
