Good news Geelong, Dan Sultan is heading our way on a national tour

For the man who’s no stranger to G-town, he’s paying us all another visit. Soon after releasing his long-awaited fourth album on July 28, Dan Sultan is set for a string of shows to support the release kicking it all off in our home town.

The 11-date tour, named after the new album Killer, starts on Friday, September 1 at the Wool Exchange in Geelong.

With this album, Dan worked alongside producer and long-time collaborator Jan Skubiszewski in Melbourne. So far ‘Hold it Together’ and ‘Magnetic’ are the two singles released ahead of the album, both showcasing some of Dan’s best writing yet.

“It’s been a long process to make this album, looking back on it all,” Sultan says. “I’ve spent a long time working on this record. With the writing, it was all about evolving. I wasn’t even necessarily thinking about the album as such, I was just writing for the sake of writing, and the album made itself known over time.”

Dan’s previous album Blackbird debuted at #4 on the ARIA Albums Chart and is certified gold.

You can catch him at the Wool Exchange in Geelong on Friday, September 1. Get your tickets via the website.
