Life After Park is the gig exploring youth homelessness through song

A bunch of local musicians are gathering together for a gig of original songs exploring the issues of homelessness.

The event is organised by the Bluebird Foundation in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Geelong East.

Three months ago, a team of musicians were partnered with a group young people experiencing homelessness. Through one-on-one songwriting workshops and group sessions on developing songwriting and performance skills, specific songs exploring the themes mentioned above were created.

The musicians involved in the mentoring process were; AnnMaree Beard, Sam Bushby, Rach Brennan, Sarah Carroll, Lucy Jones, George Mills, Tim Neal, Jack Robbins, Lisa Singline and Fenn Wilson.

It all goes down on Wednesday, May 31 at 8pm at Courthouse Youth Arts in Geelong. Visit the website for more information.
