Melbourne/Surf Coast indie pop-rock band, Localles, have just released their second ever single, Wishing Well. The single is from their forthcoming debut EP and is released just days before frontman Ted O’Niel is to undergo open heart surgery.
The tune is driven by guitars and boasts some seriously well-crafted riffs, keeping in mind the serious health related issues O’Niel has experienced, the song has a light-heartedness about it and oozes positive vibes.
The song has been a way for O’Niel to capture and express his feelings while dealing with such serious health matters. “Wishing Well is about always wanting what you don’t have, the grass is greener always greener type thing”, he says. “But it is also a statement about positivity, about how things can be better if people work together.”
