Bar lovers, this one’s for you. Geelong’s newest venue, The Federal, is a café by day and restaurant/bar by night.
Located in the old Federal Woollen Mills, you can pop into The Federal for a coffee in the morning, a treat in the afternoon or sample and dine on some Aussie cuisine and local craft beers and wine.
Recenty celebrating its launch event, The Federal opens its first stage on May 6 and will be open 7 days a week offering up modern Australian and Meditteranean cuisine. The second stage of the venue will be a whiskey, gin, and wine bar – the opening date for this stage is yet to be confirmed.
