Local Geelong cafe Little Green Corner is presenting The New Breed on April 22nd. Focusing on sustainable food, the event will feature talks from four former city slickers who have successfully transitioned into making a living out of the local food movement.
Ben Shaw from Basils Farm, Oli from Ravens Creek, Tom and Bridie from Kinsfolk Farm and Hugh from The Little Green Corner will all be sharing their stories.
The event will conclude with a Q&A session and a lunch celebrating produce from the aforementioned eateries. All profits from the day will go towards the running of Eat Local Month, and this event is part of the festival program (see more about it here). Tickets are $40 and are available from the website.
