Pete Murray returns with new single and 33-date national tour

Pete Murray is no stranger to regional Victoria, but it has been a little while since he’s shown his face.

Returning with the new single ‘Take Me Down’ and soon-to-be-released album on June 2, Camacho, Pete Murray heads of on a massive tour which kicks off in Lismore on July 12.

This newest release from Murray will be his sixth studio album, adding to the already impressive one million-plus album sales to his name.

“The thing I wanted to do different with this album was to take my time and get it right. So many times in the past I have jumped into a studio for 4 – 6 weeks and recorded an album. Once the recording time is over, so is the album,” explains Pete, “With Camacho there was no rush, it was going to be finished when it was finished.”

Pete Murray stops by the Lighthouse Theatre in Warrnambool on Saturday, August 5; Ulumbarra Theatre in Bendigo on Wednesday, August 23; the Regent Multiplex Theatre in Ballarat on Thursday, August 24; The Forum Theatre in Melbourne on Friday, August 25 and the Wool Exchange in Geelong on Saturday, August 26.

Tickets on sale from April 10 via the website.
