King of the Castle announces location for new CBD cafe, All the King’s Horses

For fans of King of the Castle on Pakington Street, another venue is on its way (in addition to the Barwon Heads location opened last year).

We initially wrote about the fact King of the Castle were heading to the CBD a few weeks ago, but we can now reveal the location as was shared with fans on social media by the cafe.

The soon-to-be opened venue is set for Shorts Place, next to Parkers Stakehouse in an old bakery. The new cafe will join the bustling food scene of Little Malop St (which Shorts Place stems off).

There are still considerable renovations to happen to the space, as it has otherwise been unused as a business, and isn’t expected to open until later in the year.

Robbie Lecchino, owner of King of the Castle, has come a long way since his humble beginnings operating the “hole-in-the-wall” cafe at the end of Pakington Street.

You can keep up to date with all the renos, happenings and opening dates via the venue’s Instagram.
